Welcome to myturn2talk
What to expect from myturn2talk
We offer counselling services to young children

A professional psychological service, aimed at helping children and their families talk, be heard and engage in therapy with a psychologist who specializes in education and developmental psychology.

As parents, carers or teachers we may see cognitive, social or emotional problems expressed in children’s behaviour but despite our best efforts are unable to help them. There are two main reasons for this,

1) we are too close to the problem or are ourselves involved and
2) we are not trained child psychologists.

At myturn2talk the focus is on allowing children and their families to tell their story, bring about awareness of themselves and their impact on others, and help them learn new ways of coping with problems.

We offer the following services:

  • Counselling for Young Children and Adolescents
  • Cognitive and Behavioural Assessments (4 - 18 years)

  • Parenting Strategies and Support

For the following parental concerns:

  • Behavioural problems

  • Social & emotional problems

  • Anxiety & depression

  • Parenting during a difficult times

  • Stress related to school
